Chapter 14- Ender's Teacher

-a discussion between Graff and Admiral Chamrajnagar about the journey to the I.F command and questions Graff about the 3 month vacation he let Ender take.
-Admiral tells Graff what is planned for Ender.
-Ender spends time either alone with Graff, mostly working on the simulator
-In the beginning of the game Ender starts by commanding a single fighter, but soon is in charge of a whole fleet.
-Later, the next day Mazer Rackham, Ender's new teacher, introduces himself. He tells Ender that he will be his teacher because he is his enemy.
-Ender and Reckham watch videos of the first and second invasions
- Reckham explains to Ender that the buggers are like highly evolved insects, they don't talk, the communication comes from the queen.
-Reckham explains modern weapons and the advantages of humans over buggers- every pilot is a thinking being so they can carry out more strategies.
-Ender moves to new simulator and commands a fleet made of all his battle school friends
-Mazar tells Ender he is winning so he cannot quit
-Ender sspends hours practicing with squad leaders
-Ender is very tired but doesn't give up
-Ender has strange dreams of the buggars
-He breaks down physically, goes to fight a battle and wins- his days begin to blend together in that pattern
-Mazar tells Ender that the battle will be his final exam in commander school
-Ender sees the battle and is very out numbered
-He decides that he will win an unfair battle than be beaten unfairly
-Ender destroys the planet the buggers live on- everyone cheers
-Mazar tells Ender that he has not been in the simulator the whole time. Ender was the commander of the Third Invasion
-Ender is upset with Mazar and Graff for using him. He didn't want to hurt anyone, but destroys a race without his own knowledge
-Ender sleeps throught 5 days of war on Earth and when he awakes, the Locke Proposal has been accepted
-His friends are there to tell him what he had missed


The beginning of the chapter 14 starts out by Graff and Admiral Chamrajnagar talking about the trip to the I.F command. Admiral questions Graff's idea to let Ender has a 3 month vacation, but Graff points out that Ender has to be trained and ready. After their discussion about Ender, Admiral tells Graff what he has planned for Ender. Graff and Ender work alone with the simulator, occasionally Ender takes classes. In the game Ender starts out by commanding a single fighter and soon enough is in charge of an entire fleet. A day later, Mazar Rackham introduces himself to Ender and says he will be his new tacher because he is his enemy. Together, Ender and Mazar watch videos of the First and Second invasions. Ender is told by Mazar that the buggers are like highly evolved insects, all the communication comes from the queen. Later, Mazar explains the modern weapons and that humans are thinking beings and can carry out more strategies over the buggers. Ender gets moved to a new simulator and becomes the commander of a fleet made of all his friends from battle school. Mazar begins to push Ender, as he his winning so he cannot give up. Ender starts having strange dreams about the buggers. The stress level in Ender goes up and one night he breaks down physically. He goes off to fight a battle and wins. The days blend together and seem to repeat themselves. Mazar confronts Ender and tells him that the battle will be his final exam in commander school. Ender sees the battle and realizes that he is vastly out numbered and decides that he will win an unfair battle rather than getting beaten unfairly. After a lot of hard work and dedication, Ender wins the battle and destroys the planet that the buggers live on. Everyone cheered loudly and was very proud of Ender. Mazar goes up to Ender and tells him that he was not in a simulator, he had been the commander of the Third Invasion and the battle was real. Ender gets mad at Graff and Mazar for using him the way they did. Ender wasn't planning on hurting anyone, but he demolishes an entire race without his own knowledge. Five days of war had been happening on Earth but Ender sleeps through it all. When he awakes he finds out that the Locke Proposal has been accepted. Ender's friends are all there to tall him what he has missed.
