How does being able to write change Christy's life?

Christy Brown's life was changed entirely when his family found out he could write. Writing would destine Christy to express his emotions and feelings in a suitable manner. Also, writing could give Christy the oppertunity to experience life in a way that no one thought possible with his condition. Writing would broaden his horizon and help him comprehend the difficulties that life conveys. However, it won't give Christy complete freedom of expression, but it will show him the values of learning to read and write. Learning these valuable life lessons would certainly allow Christy to persevere his dreams and aspirations.
